Its the middle of TV season

Battlestar Galactica is still scoring home runs every episode. Season 3 has been absolutely fantastic so far its better than the competition by a large margin.

Lost is doing fine, but the part about the Others is getting tiring. Killing another character is part of the show, but they choose to off one of the better characters?! The show is tying itself into knots, which makes for compelling viewing, but one wonders how they are going to explain everything without looking dumb in future. Overall, still very solid.

I gave up on Desperate Housewives Season 3. It was just BLAH.

I’m almost giving up on Prison Break. Season 1 was good, notwithstanding the many stretches of logic. Season 2 is painfully mediocre, and the characters are no longer compelling. Alot of the plotlines are becoming ludicrous. Prison Break is going from Shawshank Redemption to The Fugitive, but it has none of the finess of the Fugitive. I hope it doesn’t have a season 3.

I’m only watching Smallville Season 6 because i’ve watched 5 seasons. So far not too bad, but its being easily eclipsed by the other new shows.

There are some really good new series around. I’ve previously mentioned Heroes, and its going from strength to strength, with one of the best characters in recent memory.

Showtimes’ Dexter is yet another revelation. Its like American Psycho, only more fun. Its one of the most compelling new dramas around and it has the best opening credits i have seen.

  1. Why drop Desperate Housewives? I absolutely loved the most recent episode of DH, which I think is by far the best desperate housewives episode EVER. Maybe if you watch it, it might perhaps renew your interest. Haha.

  3. I dropped DH around ep 2 of Season 3, mainly because Season 2 was lacklustre and season 3’s opening wasn’t very good. But it seems that i shall give DH another spin in light of all the persuasive comments
